ELEVATE appoints new VP of Food & Agriculture

Meghan Quinlan has been appointed VP, Food and Agriculture to lead a new strategic initiative to expand ELEVATE’s services to the companies in this sector. Under Meghan’s leadership, ELEVATE will help companies in the food, agriculture, retail grocery and consumer packaged goods to build out social responsibility programs, embed a continuous improvement philosophy across the value chain and drive impact through participation in multistakeholder industry programs.
“Over the years I have enjoyed working with ELEVATE’s apparel and electronic brand partners. It has been exciting to support multiple brands achieve greater transparency, incorporate data-analytics into decision making and expand program scope to issues such as responsible recruitment. I am thrilled ELEVATE has made the commitment to expand our approach and services to the food and agriculture sector,” said Meghan. “There are many learnings to share from other industries specifically, implementing scalable risk-based monitoring and capacity building initiatives, to the food and agriculture industries. I look forward to collaborating with industry colleagues to continue to transform how this industry manages social and environmental responsibility, to protect farmers and workers, and better protect brands.”
For the past five years Meghan has played an instrumental role in building the Client Services team and overseeing many of ELEVATE’s key accounts. Meghan brings nearly 20 years’ experience in analytics, and in designing, implementing and scaling sustainability strategies and initiatives, with a specialization in food and agriculture. Prior to ELEVATE, Meghan led the certification, standards and impact teams at Fair Trade USA.
