ELEVATE Strategic Partner webinar – Overcoming challenges in setting a science-based target for scope 3 emissions

Companies in most sectors find their largest sources of greenhouse gas emissions lie upstream and/or downstream of their core operations. If these emissions represent more than 40% of a company’s overall emissions, the Science-Based Target initiative (SBTi) requires setting a scope 3 emissions target in order to meet validation requirements.

Few companies have done so as collecting the necessary data and reducing these emissions remains a significant challenge. Many companies see their science-based targets refused due to lacking or incorrect Scope 3 measurements.

Join us for this webinar with WWF’s global lead for science-based targets and benefit from technical insights and practical advice on how to overcome barriers in setting supply chain emission targets. These webinar is targeted at sustainability or supply chain executives with a good understanding of emissions accounting and looking for practical approaches to moving beyond a high-level screening assessment of scope 3 emissions.
