Based in Zürich, Switzerland, Peter leads ELEVATE’s advisory services in EMEA. In 1998, he co-founded BSD Consulting and acts as their Managing Partner. BSD Consulting joined ELEVATE in late 2018.

His main focus is on working with international and national companies, public institutions and non-profit organizations on strategy and sustainability management within a cross-cultural and international context. He has +25 years of experience across a broad range of industries leading the design and implementation of sustainability strategies, sustainable value chains and responsible sourcing, and sustainability reporting. This includes a wide range of consulting in the areas of materiality assessment and context-based and data driven sustainability target setting. He is an expert on ESG performance evaluation and reporting, impact and risk assessment, evaluation and controlling. He has been leading GRI Certified Trainings and a sustainability management trainings since 2003. He also served as lecturer with various universities and business schools. He is a graduated dipl. Ing. Agr. from the ETHZ and has a Bachelor degree in Economic Engineering. Peter is fluent in German, French, English, and Spanish.
