Based in Hong Kong, Sarah oversees ELEVATE’s supply chain-related sustainability projects in the Asia Pacific region. Sarah has worked with factories, vendors, and international brands to support them in their sustainability journey. Her experience covers factory auditing, capacity building, risk assessments, strategy development as well as project implementation on-site.

Sarah joins ELEVATE from PFI Hong Kong where she was Head of Sustainability. While at PFI, Sarah oversaw the sustainability department’s audit and training services, focusing on chemical management in the footwear and synthetic leather industry. She also led the development of new certification for products from ocean-bound plastic bottles. Earlier in her career, Sarah worked with suPPPort ltd. to design and manage development aid-funded projects across Asia. Projects ranged from setting up training centers to increasing resource efficiency. Sarah has spent a number of years in Asian-producing countries. In Indonesia and Bangladesh, she worked for GIZ, C&A, and van Laack on projects covering social compliance, productivity, and traceability of materials.

Sarah is a textile engineer and holds a master’s degree in textile management from Germany. She is a certified ISO14001 Lead Auditor, holds a Six Sigma Green Belt, and is certified in ZDHC Chemical Management, and GRI Sustainability Reporting.
