Ted is responsible for delivering in-factory consulting projects focusing on social and environmental compliance. He has extensive experience in chemical management and quality system management. He is based in Shenzhen, China and has over 14 years of field audit and assessment experience.

Prior to joining ELEVATE, Ted was a compliance specialist at a consulting company where he led the audit team for various industry standard assessments, including SMETA, RBA, FairTrade etc. Ted has also worked as an engineer in plastics and electronic industries for 5 years. The combination of his manufacturing and compliance experience enables Ted to think about sustainability through a business lens and provide guidance that resonates with factory managers.

Ted has a Bachelor’s degree in Material Engineering and Control with a focus on Plastic Injection Processes and Equipment. He is a certified auditor for SA8000, TS16949 and ISO9001, and speaks Mandarin and English.
