Teri Choong is the Regional Director of Corporate Affairs at NIPSEA Group based in Singapore, known as Nippon Paint across Asia overseeing 17 countries with an employee population of 22K. Prior to NIPSEA, she worked in the Formula 1 motorsports for 10 years in areas of sponsorship, fundraising, partnership development, hospitality and finance.

Having spent 6 months volunteering in a Tibetan Refugee camp at 18 left a deep impression on her life and later dedicated 5 years in social welfare services through an NGO she helped pioneered impacting thousands of under-served communities, children, youth and families, working with neglected, abused children and empowering women in Malaysia. She leveraged on her corporate experience and spearheaded the corporate partnership arm of the NGO establishing a powerful unit, helping corporate partners design & developed unique programs to achieve their Corporate Responsibility goals; creating stakeholder and business value while delivering sustainable, impactful and empowering results for the communities that they have invested in.

Teri was the winner of The Great Women of Our Times, Most Inspiring Woman in 2009 and an honorary recipient of the Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah Inspirational Woman 2010. In 2013 she was again recognized as one of 18 Unsung Heroes by DIVA Universal Channel in Asia – accolades for her dedication, advocacy work and in service to the community.
