Dana Graber Ladek is currently Chief of Mission of the International Organization for Migration’s Thailand office. As the key United Nations agency working on migration, IOM covers all aspects of migration affecting Thailand and its neighbors, including ethical recruitment, labor supply chain management, countering trafficking and slave labor, migrant health, emergency and post crisis recovery, and refugee resettlement.

Dana’s career spans four continents and 20 years of experience in humanitarian aid and international development. Prior to her role in Thailand, Dana worked for IOM’s various regional offices for Central America and the Caribbean, South-Eastern Europe, and North America, and she was the Displacement Specialist at IOM’s Iraq office. Before starting her career with IOM, Dana was the Director of Outreach for The Communitarian Network in Washington, DC.

Dana holds bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Journalism from Goshen College and a master’s degree in International Affairs from George Washington University. She lives with her husband and three children in Bangkok.
